History
The eldest and most battle hardened of the Tyrian RMG leaders, Korbin was a major force in keeping the Real Millennium Group out of the guild war conflict. Though he leads a brutal life as a warrior, his spiritial side still maintains the balance of his life as he works with his daughter Korina to rebuild the guild his ancestors formed, and bring peace not only to a troubled Tyria, but now also to a ravaged Canthan nation.

The Real Millennium Guild can trace its origins back nearly to the formation of Tyria itself. Unlike many of the early humans in the world, who craved power and domination over all things, there was a small band who desired knowledge above all else. They were the ones closest to the Serpents of old, and at the forefront of the movement to continue their teachings after the Exodus.
When the Gods gave the gift of magic to the races of Tyria, the Knowledge Bearers saw this as a way to uncover the vast secrets of the world and of creation itself. Though their intentions were good, they too became trapped by the power and greed that the ultimate knowledge could bring to them. The guild of Knowledge Bearers paid the price for their ambitions, but learned their lesson well as the survivors of the early Race Wars regrouped and settled down in the Kingdom of Orr. There they built vast libraries as repositories for the histories and wealth of knowledge that they had accumulated over time. At this period, shortly before the outbreak of the Guild Wars, the guild was renamed to the Real Millennium Guild in remembrance and celebration of the 1000th anniversary of the Exodus.
The RMG was one of the few guilds that refused to participate in the Guild Wars, having no desire to repeat the mistakes of the past. However, in the face of the impending Charr threat that abruptly brought the Wars to an end, members of the guild knew that they could no longer remain passive. Once again, fate struck a cruel blow as the Cataclysm which destroyed Orr also wiped out nearly all of the repositories that had been built, destroying all records, books, and collections that had been stown within them.
The few survivors of the disaster have refused to give up hope, though. They are more determined than ever to rebuild what has been lost. Working under a new standard, the remains of the Real Millennium Guild continue to venture forth in their quest for Truth and Knowledge while yet preparing for the conflicts ahead.
Violet was the traditional color worn by those who served and learned from the Serpents, and who formed the original Knowledge Bearers Guild. Thus this becomes the backdrop of the new standard. Rising above the red flames of the Searing and blood of War is the Green Serpent of Truth, reborn to continue the quest for Knowledge and Peace.

History
Perhaps by luck, or by Divine Intervention, Hanok was saved from the Cataclysm by a journey to Ascalon while researching some bit of information for the Chronicles of Tyria which he had been commissioned to write. Though one of the younger members of the RMG, he has travelled much of the countryside, and has taken on some of the dark skills of the Necromancer as further preparation against the war with the Charr.

History
For much of his life, Landemora has preferred the comfort and solitude of the woods, not caring for the concerns of the rest of his fellow man, especially those who dwelt in the towns and cities. But that all changed after the world as he knew it was destroyed by the Charr invasion. With a burning desire equal to the Searing itself, Landemora has joined with the RMG along with his long-time companion, Gallendarr, to have his vengeance against the Charr for their crimes against the natural world.
History
A veteran of the Guild Wars, Lord Armnoth still harbors some resentment towards many of the other Guilds in Ascalon, blaming their quests for power as the cause of Tyria's defenses weakening, which hastened the Charr Invasion. He now spends his time fighting in the arenas, training allies in the war against the Charr, and exacting revenge against rival Guilds who he believes made the Searing all to easy for the Charr to accomplish.

History
Jaidyn and his younger sister, Brienne, were born and raised in the Krytan village of Beetletun. Jaidyn always fancied himself an actor and spent much of his time as a youth watching plays put on by Lady Althea. Seeing the natural talent in the boy, Althea took him under her wing, and not only trained him in the art of Theater, but the mind-bending trait as a Mesmer as well. Unfortunately, Jaidyn became one of the many casulties of the Searing, and he is fondly remembered by her surviving Guild Members and friends.
